Akrobatisk nycirkus med succesramt australsk verdensturnerende kompagni

Danmarkspremiere. Tyngdekraften er sat ud af kraft i forårets store, internationale forestilling på Baltoppen LIVE.

”Out Of Chaos…” er formidabelt nycirkus i særklasse! Rå, sexet og eksplosiv akrobatik kolliderer med intime, sjove og sjælfulde overraskelser.

Forestillingen kredser om temaerne orden og kaos. Om de fysiske og dramatiske spændinger der er drivkraften i menneskelige relationer og gruppeadfærd. Om hvordan vi kan ophæve tyngdeloven, når vi står sammen, samarbejder og passer på hinanden.

Otte top-akrobater og én musiker skaber bjergtagende scenebilleder, mens de frygtløst udfordrer grænserne for fysisk formåen i en sådan grad, at publikum sidder som naglet til sæderne i åndeløs spænding og betagelse.

Som eneste sted i Danmark kan du her opleve ”Out Of Chaos…” med det prisvindende og verdensturnerende kompagni Gravity & Other Myths (da. ”Tyngdekraft og andre myter”) fra Australien. Kompagniet har ikke været i Danmark siden 2014, hvor de gæstede Baltoppen LIVE med anmelder- og publikumssuccessen ”A Simple Space”. Nu er de her endelig igen, med deres nye forestilling ”Out Of Chaos…”, der havde verdenspremiere på Adelaide Festival i Australien i marts 2019.

Gravity truly seems to be nothing but a myth when the acrobats of multi-award winning company Gravity & Other Myths take the stage. They construct dizzying human towers, whirl each other through the air, and test the limits of circus with extraordinary strength and grace. Their debut work “A Simple Space” led to sold-out venues around the world, including Baltoppen LIVE, and wowed audiences and critics alike. Now they present their newest work ”Out Of Chaos…” in Denmark for the first time.
”Out Of Chaos…” is the company’s boldest and most ambitious work yet. Hard-edged, explosive acrobatics collide with intimate, surprising and often hilarious acts.
By sharing the inner workings of their world-class acrobats with us, the company unveils the magic that is inherent in any work of Gravity & Other Myths: genuine warmth and connection between each other and the audience. We get closer to the human, but also to the myth. And we spectators may freely dive into the impossibility of what happens live in front of our eyes.
At its conceptual centre, ”Out Of Chaos…” is a story of how things come together. Individual and group. Movement and stillness. Audience, performer, sound and light. With sincerity and unaffectedness, eight acrobats and one musician create moving, exhilarating images and so fearlessly explore the limits of their own physicality that it takes our breath away.
